Hi guys, been a way a long while been working hard and staying focused but wanted to post the method of how to remove your acrylic enhancements the safe and correct way. Too many of you just pick them off and end up ruining your natural nails!! Step 1......
1. Pour pure acetone into a small glass bowl, two if possible for both sets of fingers.
2. Clip down length and file over the overlay to reduce thickness, DO NOT ever make contact with natural nail plate!! This can cause damage!!
3. Submerge fingers into acetone, cover with a small towel to limit over exposure to the chemical.... Now wait!!!!!!
4. After 20 mins check progress, using a wooden orange stick ( can get from chemist) start scraping away melted acrylic.
5. Submerge fingers again, leave for another 20 mins!!!! Repeat above step removing melted acrylic.
6. Continue above steps until all product has been removed. Soak up excess acetone with kitchen paper and dispose of in a wrapped bin liner in an outside bin.
7.Use a buffer to gently buff surface of the nail to smooth out and tidy up. Apply cuticle oil to cuticle and nail plate and massage in.
So girlies, no more half peeled off nails please, get a pal to do this for you and have a girlie pamper nail night!!
